Sport-Children-Solidarity, these are the three pillars of the Pulcino d’Oro. The objective is ambitious. The Organizing Committee wants to combine the adrenaline of challenge with the positive messages and educational spirit of teamwork.
Sports values, through children, become an important opportunity for solidarity to bring concrete help to charity projects aimed at less fortunate peers.
Pulcino d’Oro from an international football tournament has transformed into a strong project. Every year the Organizing Committee brings together all the sports clubs into a single large ideal team, which donates the registration fees to charity. In this way, everyone takes part in the solidarity project.
2016 – FONDAZIONE ONLUS NICCOLÒ GALLI
During the 2016 edition of the Pulcino d’Oro Tournament, the solidarity commitment was aimed at the NICCOLÒ GALLI ONLUS FOUNDATION, named after the son of the former Italian goalkeeper Giovanni Galli. The aim of the foundation is to create projects to support victims of road and sports accidents, providing scholarships for economically needy children or supporting institutions able to treat specific disabilities
2017 – ATLETICO SIBILLINI
During the 2017 edition of the Pulcino d’Oro Tournament, solidarity help was given to ATLETICO SIBILLINI DI AMANDOLA, a club coming from a town hit by a strong earthquake in 2016. The Organizing Committee allowed the team to participate in the international phase of the event. An opportunity to start again after the natural disaster, using sport to help them get back into everyday life.
2018 – CENTRE EFFETÀ – BURKINA FASO
During the 2018 edition of the Pulcino d’Oro Tournament, the organization committed to donating the registration fees to the Congregation of the Sons of Mary Immaculate-Pavonians of the CENTER EFFETÀ Ludovic Pavoni located in Saaba of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso which has always helped children affected by deafness, most of whom are in this condition following meningitis.
2019 – FONDAZIONE P.U.P.I.
During the 2019 Edition, the Pulcino d’Oro Tournament collaborated with the P.U.P.I. FOUNDATION, for the integral protection of the rights of children and adolescents. The Foundation belongs to the champion of Inter and the Argentine national team Javier Zanetti and his wife Paula. The P.U.P.I. Foundation is based in Remedios de Escalada, province of Buenos Aires, where an early childhood care center and a complementary education center are active.
DAL 2020 – UNICEF
Starting from 2020 the pulcino d’Oro is next to UNICEF ITALIA. The commitment of the Organizing Committee, the volunteers and the stakeholders has transformed into a real opportunity for development for many children who attend schools built with recycled bricks and a real survival opportunity for kids who are victims of acute malnutrition.
2023 – FONDAZIONE ITALIANA DIABETE
In 2023 the Pulcino d’Oro Tournament was alongside the ITALIAN DIABETES FOUNDATION. Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini was the testimonial of the solidarity project of the eighth edition of the event, contributed to raising awareness on the topic of diabetes and research in this area.
